Scott Olson
Girls Basketball Coach
Coach Olson has been with Horizon since it opened in 2006. During this time he has served as our head cross-country and track coach while also assisting in football and coaching middle school basketball, cross-country, and track. Scott has over 22 years of coaching experience in football, basketball, track, and cross-country. Prior to Horizon he coached in Tigard, Tualatin, and Wilsonville. Scott has also been involved with the USA Track and Field for the past few years. He served as the Youth Chair for the Oregon Association of USATF from 2012-2014. Prior to working at Horizon Scott spent over a decade working in the sports training world working with athletes of all ability levels from youth to Olympic and professional athletes. He has a passion for developing strength, power, and durability in athletes. He still maintains ownership of Trinity Sports Camps, a company committed to providing athletes of all ages with the training they need to thrive in their various sports while learning the proper techniques to keep their bodies healthy for life. Our Girls Basketball competes in the 3A- Lewis and Clark League.
