Associate of General Studies

Students & parents must meet with a high school counselor to complete the AGS/Horizon Course Plan Worksheet.

Students & parents should participate in an AGS program information session.

Students are required to enroll in the courses listed on the approved course plan worksheet during their sophomore, junior, and senior year. 

At the beginning of the senior year, students on track to complete a minimum of 60 credit hours will submit an AGS interest form.

George Fox will send an AGS graduation application and relevant graduation information to all qualified students. 

The AGS diploma and cord will be granted at high school graduation.

The cost is $75 per college credit.

All classes will take place on the Horizon Christian High School campus in a high school classroom, unless it is an online course offered directly through George Fox.

Any HCHS student in 10th -12th grade in good academic standing who meets both the high school and college coursework requirements. 

Students must meet Horizon Christian High School graduation requirements and earn a high school diploma. In addition, students must complete a minimum of 60 college credit hours as outlined in the workbook, maintain a cumulative university GPA of at least 2.0, and submit an AGS Interest Form at the beginning of their senior year.
