STEPS TO APPLY
Applying is easy using our Online Application. To begin, Create an Account and then log in to complete the Online Application. Once the Online Application is submitted you will be contacted by our Admissions Coordinator to schedule an interview with a school administrator. If you are interested in applying for our needs-based tuition assistance program called Variable Tuition, you may apply any time during the admissions process.
Please note: The application to Horizon Christian School is a separate application from the Variable Tuition application, and both need to be completed if you are interested in applying for tuition assistance.
2. INTERVIEW (6th-12th grade), Assessment (Kindergarten-5th)
Interview: Enjoy the opportunity to meet virtually with an administrator and share more about your student and why Horizon Christian might be a good fit. At the conclusion of the interview, a decision will be given regarding acceptance to our school.
Assessment: Our elementary principal will assess each incoming 1st-5th grade students with a quick grade level Reading, Writing and Math activity. It is a low-key look at behavior and academic ability, and serves to help us consider if each student is a fit for our culture. Kindergarten Assessment is your opportunity to virtually meet with one of our kindergarten teachers for 20-30 minutes in a one-on-one session. During this time the teachers will talk with your child, observe their academic readiness, social and emotional maturity, and ask some “getting to know you” questions. At the conclusion of this process, you and our teachers will have a solid awareness whether Horizon Christian School would be a good fit for your student.
Upon acceptance to Horizon Christian School, you will receive an email with final instructions to complete the last steps in the online enrollment process within our school database, FACTS Family Online. You will be asked to review information from your application as well as add additional information such as medical, emergency contacts and a few other additional steps.
